Happy 4th of July/Pony Ride Day!

The deciding factor in our family 4th of July plans this year was the existence of a pony ride, so I might as well show you those pictures first.  We hadn't intended to go to Sunriver, but an accidental mention of the "P" word had Zoe jumping up and down screaming "pony rides! pony rides!" From that point on, there were no other options. 

 



She was clearly thrilled.... possibly to the point of hyperventilating (see second image above).







Eric walked along with her, because it was sort of an advanced pony ride loop, with some hills. 

We also made a stop at the petting zoo. 








And at the people who give away free lollipops and stickers...

Then we headed home for a good nap (not pictured, because it didn't technically ever happen) and some corn on the cob.

 

She even stayed up for the fireworks.  Well, okay, technically, the fireworks woke her up.  But she saw some.
